IIn Calgary's uptown Mission area, BIN 905 shines as a premier wine shop under Highlander Wine & Spirits' umbrella. We're seeking a part-time sales associate who is passionate about wines to join our team. The role calls for outstanding sales abilities and extensive wine knowledge due to our diverse array of Old and New World wines. The perfect fit is someone reliable, well-organized, self-driven, and skilled at sparking meaningful conversations regarding our wine offerings with customers. Both independent work and teamwork should be within your comfort zone. Wine expertise is a must, preferably with WSET level 1 or 2 certification or prior retail wine experience. We highly value a strong work ethic, a professional demeanour, and a genuine passion for wine.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Retail sales
- Offering a best-in-class customer service experience for all retail customers
- Responsible for assisting with customer inquiries regarding wine cellar management and sales
- Delivering a high level of service and customer experience
- Maintaining pace on new products, and industry trends
- Merchandising, ensuring the store is stocked and procedures and policies are followed
