Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities. This role is essential in providing a comfortable and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and experience in cleaning within hospitality or industrial settings. Prior hotel or custodial experience is a plus, but we value reliability and a positive attitude above all.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas following established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies as needed
- Perform detailed cleaning of floors, carpets, windows, and furniture
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored properly
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to health and hygiene standards in all cleaning activities
- Assist with deep cleaning projects or special sanitation procedures as required
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and thoroughly
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated schedules
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward guest service and teamwork
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate loads, and stand for extended periods
