Position: Clubhouse Server/Beverage Cart Attendant
Oliver’s Nest Golf Club is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic individual with strong customer service skills to join our Food and Beverage team.
Job Details: Seasonal (mid-April to mid-October). Weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required.
Pay: $17.60 per hour plus gratuities
Duties:
- Provide guests with prompt, friendly, and attentive service
- Take orders and process transactions using Lightspeed POS system
- Make menu recommendations and answer guest questions
- Check on tables, and clean tables after guests leave
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work area at all times
- Assess customer condition and limit alcohol consumption
- Inspect beverage cart daily to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Manage beverage cart inventory and maintain control of stock
- Set up banquet hall for events (silverware, linens etc.) and reset hall after events
- Hold basic knowledge of golf rules and etiquette when serving on the course
- Complete all tasks on the Daily Checklist
- Follow all company policies, health and safety standards, and liquor regulations
Requirements:
- Previous serving or hospitality experience is an asset
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in basic mathematical skills
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift and carry items as needed
License/Certification:
- Valid Driver’s Licence (required)
- Smart Serve Certification (required)
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
