Shoppers Drug Mart is modernizing its legacy pharmacy dispensing system known as HealthWATCH NG. The Rollout Specialist will be responsible for ensuring all store readiness parameters which includes the installation of hardware, store contacts, store readiness checklists, and training have been met and the store is ready to go live for the launch of the Program Delta.

We are hiring a Pharmacy Rollout Specialist (1 year contract).
What You'll Do:
Contact stores prior to go-live to ensure all store readiness parameters (assignment of hardware, store contacts, store readiness checklists, training, etc.) have been met and store is ready to go live
Provide remote or in-store support on the New HealthWATCH system and other pharmacy software (MMS, Accuro EMR, FreedomRx, etc.)
Remain current with pharmacy application behaviour, processes, and regulations for each province
Guide converted stores through a defined implementation process to get them up and running on New HealthWATCH
Identify opportunities of improvement at store level and provide guidance on new pharmacy workflow
Liaison with Pharmacy Enhanced Support, IT, Rx Operations, Regional, and Corporate Personnel as required
Assist in configuration of hardware with pharmacy management systems
Assist in troubleshooting third party adjudication and eHealth data exceptions within HealthWATCH
Provide support to stores upgraded to new releases, including integration with eHealth services and other third-party vendors
Monitor system performance and report any issues to Pharmacy Enhanced Support
Document experience and outstanding issues that arise
Assist in onboarding and training for future Pharmacy Rollout Specialists
Other projects/duties as assigned
What You'll Need:
2-3 years Shoppers Drug Mart / HeathWATCH experience
2-3 years MMS experience strongly preferred
Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician strongly preferred
Expert knowledge of retail pharmacy workflow
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
Ability to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends) and within a fast-paced and demanding schedule
Ability to travel to various locations, if required
Previous coaching or training experience is preferred
Exceptional communication and customer-service skills
Individual must be detail-oriented
Professional, enthusiastic, dependable, and flexible
Must take initiative and be able to work with little supervision
Ability to work in a team environment
Valid G or G2 driver’s license is required
