Accounting Associate

The Administrative Assistant will create a welcoming environment for visitors and staff and will be responsible greeting and directing visitors to appropriate persons, answer and forward telephone calls, and other clerical duties.
This shift will require P/T Hours Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities:

At all times, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the Health & Safety of themselves and customers in an environmentally friendly manner
- Greet people coming into offices, direct them to the appropriate contacts, provide general information in person and by phone
- Maintain and replenish refreshments and supplies as needed
- Receive and record vendor invoices – matching receiving paperwork
- Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Create and sending customer invoices, following up when required
- Other duties as required
Profile and Required Skills:

Post-secondary accounting or administration diploma or degree
- Minimum 3 – 5 years Administration experience
- Knowledgeable in accounting software and MS suite – Sage50 software an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
