HARIBO is a quickly growing household favorite in the Canadian Fruit Gum Confectionary market. We are looking to strengthen the Canadian Team with the right candidate to fill the critical role of Business & Sales Analyst. Reporting to the Country Manager you will help to drive brand growth within the market.
The Business and Sales Analyst will collect and analyze data to evaluate economic, competitor, market, industry, and customer growth trends and conditions to highlight business opportunities. Evaluate monthly and annual sales goals and forecasts. Develop and maintain systems to track and predict seasonal demand, industry shifts, and customer buying changes. Recommend adjustments to product forecasts to accommodate promotional activities, consumption trends and advertising campaigns. Create, and maintain, both standard and customs reports to support the Key Account Management (KAM) sales teams.

Core Responsibilities:
· Leadership
o Transparently and respectfully sharing knowledge, insights, feedback and thoughts with all members of the organization
o Creation of new, and enhancement of existing, tools, reports and process to accelerate brand development and management in the Canadian market
· Support Leadership Team through:
o Updating, analyzing and insights on monthly sales reports and KPI dashboards
o Making recommendations to streamline and improve strategies and processes
o Support in annual planning process
· Support Key Account Management Team through:
o Ongoing maintenance and evolution of forecasting and trade spend tools
o Promotion optimization and planning recommendations
o Building high quality sales, business review and strategic business partnership decks
o Support annual planning process
· Guide both short- and long-term strategies:
o Monthly analysis, recommendations and presentations driven from sales shipment data, Nielsen & retailer POS data
o Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Confectionary category, retail landscape and consumer trend and behaviours
o Guide internal reviews of the Canadian product portfolio and future planning with data driven insights
· Perform other ad-hoc duties as requested
Key Qualification
· Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, or related field preferred
· At least 5 years of sales analytics experience, within FMCG or CPG preferred – knowledge of confectionary category an asset
· Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel & Excel applications: PowerQuery, VBA, Macros
· Proficient and experienced with PowerPoint, Think Cell, Power Automate & SharePoint
· Understanding of Nielsen and how to interpret data within to generate analysis and recommendations
· Experience with sales analysis and promotion optimization
· Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as a team player
· Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical and storytelling skills with the ability to summarize various data sources into clear and actionable recommendations
· Excellent oral and written communication skill, ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and clients
· Languages: English mandatory , French is advantage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
