Overview
Join our team as a Material Handler. The Material Handler maintains stock levels of all production related components/parts and handling of these components/parts using a forklift and push carts. This position will ensure fabricated parts, dunnage, and other materials from the production areas are removed or returned to the proper locations. This position will also assist with cleanliness and order in various plant locations. Responsibilities include waste removal, sanitation, and maintaining safety standards, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.
Duties
o Be physically able to lift, carry and push products within the regulated guidelines
o Be self-motivated and organized
o Report on any concerns to the supervisor.
o Be versatile and able change to meet production demands.
o Work with limited supervision.
o Safely operate company forklifts indoors and outdoors.
o Possess good housekeeping habits.
o Work always in a safe manner as not to endanger yourself or others
o Enforce and comply with government regulations and company policies and rules
o Ability to communicate effectively and positively to their team.
o Ability to work under pressure and still deliver desired good results within tight deadlines
Experience
o Lift truck and propane safety.
o Physically able to lift 10-25lbs, sit, climb, balance, stoop, and kneel
o Able to troubleshoot and multi-task.
o Strong communication skills.
o Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
o Flexible and adaptable.
o Self-motivated with initiative.
Pay: $21.75-$24.47 per hour
