Rite-Way Renovations & Restoration is seeking a motivated Restoration Helper/Construction Assistant to join our Ottawa team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants steady hours, with the option to grow into a skilled Disaster Restoration Technician if interested.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with demolition work (removing flooring, drywall, and damaged materials)
- Handle debris and load/unload materials
- Move contents, furniture, and equipment as required
- Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized
- Support the restoration team as needed
- Participate in the on-call rotation schedule for emergency response jobs (after-hours/weekends, when needed)
- Learn and develop new skills in restoration (optional, if you want to grow in the trade)
What We’re Looking For
- Hard-working, reliable, and punctual
- Physically fit and comfortable with lifting, carrying, and using tools
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Previous labour, construction, or moving experience is an asset (but not required)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation an asset
