National Firestop Ltd is a trusted provider of fire protection and life safety services. We are dedicated to quality craftsmanship, safety, and meeting the needs of our clients across various industries. We’re looking to add a motivated and dependable Firestop Installer to our growing team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install firestop systems (caulking, putty pads, pipe collars, etc.) in new and existing construction projects according to specifications and building codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure installations meet fire protection requirements and quality standards.
- Properly identify and prepare surfaces and penetrations for firestop materials.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades on the job site.
- Document work completed, and materials used.
- Assist with the setup/ take down and installation of applied Fireproofing as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous firestop installation experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate).
- Familiarity with UL systems and firestop and various manufacturers products is a plus.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to work out of town for up to 21 Days at a time.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs., work at heights, and in tight spaces as required.
