Duties
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold hotel linens, towels, bedding, and staff uniforms.
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines safely and efficiently.
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report items that need repair or replacement.
- Treat stained linens using appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of clean linens for housekeeping and hotel operations.
- Deliver clean linens to housekeeping areas and collect soiled laundry from designated locations.
- Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist housekeeping team members when required.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment
- Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces with attention to detail
- Follow safety protocols and proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe workplace
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies like toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely room turnover and uphold the highest standards of hospitality
