The Global Chief Administrative Office (CAO) supports KPMG's Collective Strategy by being the most trusted source of financial, HR and operational information, insight and monitoring that enables the growth and health of our business across KPMG. The Business Enablement Services (BES) Investment Intelligence team is a trusted advisor to Global leadership and investment teams in providing investment decision-making support.
The team strives to build a transparent digital space where the KPMG network can see investment progress and benefits from Business Case to Return on Investment. Investment Intelligence also monitors the Global investments by engaging in various auditing and reporting processes to provide demand-driven investment analyses. The information collected provides Global leadership with key insights into the evolution of strategic initiatives. The vision is to help KPMG realize the value of its investments.
The Monitoring & Reporting Manager is a key part of our Investment Intelligence team charged with monitoring and reporting on the firm's strategic investments (Products and Solutions). The Monitoring & Reporting Manager works closely with team leads and senior stakeholders operating the ongoing reporting processes and applications. These processes include the initiation of new initiatives through to their development and deployment. This is a fast paced, high volume operation supporting the most strategic firm initiatives and executives. The Monitoring & Reporting Manager will assist team leads to implement our investment monitoring strategy, identify best practices and new ways of working, and advance our reporting capabilities.
This role requires strong project management (organizational) skills, strong product portfolio knowledge and an ability to understand and drive solutions to strategic business challenges. All outputs and activities must be at the highest possible standards and the successful candidate will need strong written and oral communication skills commensurate with the senior stakeholder audiences which the team supports.
What you will do:
Key Accountabilities
Work with team leads and stakeholders to understand changing reporting requirements and develop reporting and monitoring processes to meet those requirements
Leverage and maintain the Investment Lifecycle platforms to monitor the firm's global investment portfolio
Analyzes data, draws conclusions and present these in easily digestable reports to support executive decision making
Collaborate on the production of reports and presentations for senior management and executives which would include such data points as financial performance, performance metrics and product deployment
Support team leadership in ad-hoc reporting and other initiatives to provide insight about the global investment portfolio
Execute ongoing innovation, process improvements and efficiencies
What you bring to this role:
Experience & knowledge
5 years experience in client centric, fast paced, deadline driven environment (Advisory consultancy a plus)
Working with financials and accurately reporting numbers a must
Large scale report generation a plus
Client engagement and stakeholder management a plus
Technical skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Strong strategic, financial and business acumen
Strong written and oral communication skills as well as storytelling expertise
Develop graphics, charts, and diagrams to simplify complex financial data to bring insight appropriate to the audience
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively with an attention to detail
Ability to communicate and function in a culturally diverse and change oriented setting
Operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with both virtual and face-to-face interactions
Ability to demonstrate collaboration and knowledge-sharing in a virtual team environment
