About Us
Meiju Design + Build is a growing residential renovation company focused on high-quality design + build projects. We specialize in custom basements, kitchens, full interior renovations, and property service contracts.
We are building a strong core team and are looking for a skilled Lead Carpenter who can eventually run projects independently.
This role starts as a 3–6 month contract and can transition into a long-term leadership position for the right candidate.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead and execute residential renovation projects on-site
- Read and interpret drawings and layouts
- Maintain high quality standards and clean job sites
- Coordinate trades and manage daily site workflow
- Communicate professionally with clients when needed
- Train and support junior crew members
- Report progress and site updates to management
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years experience in residential renovations
- Strong framing, finishing, and problem-solving skills
- Experience running smaller job sites independently
- Comfortable managing subcontractors
- Professional, organized, and calm under pressure
- Able to think ahead and prevent issues before they happen
- Valid driver’s license
Compensation
- $30–35 per hour (based on experience)
- 40 hours per week
- Growth opportunity into Site Lead / Project Supervisor role
