RSM is currently seeking an experienced Consulting Partner to join our Financial Investigations and Dispute Advisory Services (FIDS) Practice with the unique opportunity to further capitalize on RSM’s market opportunity and develop, lead, and execute against a growth and Go-to-Market strategy for Canada, building on an existing platform. The Principal / Partner will collaborate and represent RSM's FIDS Practice to clients and prospects across Canada, which includes services such as Fraud Investigations; Forensic Technology; Litigation and Disputes; Compliance and Fraud Risk Assessments; and Insurance Claims services. This professional will use their industry knowledge, consulting experience, depth of technical knowledge and strong collaborative mindset and expertise to bring integrated services to the market and our clients.
Role Responsibilities:
Overseeing client service delivery of Forensic and Compliance services to clients that typically include government agencies, regulators, law firms, insurance companies, banks, corporate counsel and management of companies, audit committees, compliance officers, and corporate boards.
Ensuring a client-centric, digitally driven client experience, inclusive of the use of technology tools and professionals
Providing industry expertise, specifically in Public Sector, is a plus
Driving business development (e.g.; marketing, sales, thought leadership, webinars, white papers, proposals, and branding) with existing relationships across an existing network of government agencies, regulators, law firms, insurance companies, banks, corporate counsel, C suite executives, audit committees, compliance officers, and corporate boards to build a strong pipeline to revenue and greater market share in Canada
Understanding of existing capabilities and depth of those capabilities to understand how we provide integrated, holistic solutions to our clients
Acting as a relationship leader for strategic accounts
Working on and leading projects (assessments, analysis, reporting, testifying)
Working across North America to service clients, while expanding the team roster as needed. Demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and proven success in managing and motivating teams (recruiting experienced and college candidates, training, career development)
Championing a mindset of client-centricity with a digitally-driven client experience
Delivering engagements utilizing teams across the globe, including India
Maintaining operational excellence (billing, collections, personnel management, scheduling, and related administrative responsibilities), and continuing our history of profitable growth
Travel as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience in managing and directing the forensic analysis, investigative efforts and related to corporate, government or regulatory investigations, litigations, and disputes domestically and globally preferably in Public Sector.
Previous experience in managing and directing Compliance engagements
Ability to assess and apply various tools, including development and application of proprietary tools/workflows depending on the client situation
Must be recognized as an expert in the forensics and/or Compliance field and have been identified as or testified as an expert witness or presented in front of government agencies
Significant experience in leading teams in a matrixed organization
Proven success and track record in building a profitable practice
Proven business development and sales, coupled with a growth mindset
Proven track record of success in exceeding client expectations
Recognition in professional organizations
Desired Credentials: CPA, CFE, Various Compliance and/or Monitorship certifications; Advanced degree preferred
