About the Role As a Brand Ambassador, you'll be the face of Mad Mexican at demo events — sharing our story, engaging shoppers, and helping them try our products for the first time.
What You'll Do
- Run engaging in-store product demos and share our brand story with customers
- Collect customer feedback and insights using QR codes/surveys
- Track daily sales and complete demo reports
- Check inventory and set up/dismantle your demo station (including packing, transporting, and unpacking equipment)
What You'll Bring
- Outgoing, personable, comfortable engaging strangers in a retail setting
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Ability to lift and carry 20–50 lbs of equipment
- Reliable transportation to demo locations across Ottawa
- Full availability for weekend shifts (early mornings)
- A cell phone with data/internet to stay in contact
- Sales or demo experience is a plus, but not required
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $21.00/hour
- Hours: 1–2 demos/week, 6 hours each
- Shifts: Early morning weekends (based on store schedule)
- Job Type: Part-time, in-person
- Location: Varies by store, Ottawa, ON
