Position: Front Desk – Restaurant
Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk staff member. This role is responsible for managing the front desk operations, assisting customers, handling orders, and supporting restaurant service by managing the POS system and coordinating with the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent front-line customer service
- Manage the front desk area, including answering inquiries and directing customers as needed
- Handle dine-in and take-out orders efficiently
- Operate and manage the POS system, including processing payments (cash, debit, and credit cards)
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Assist with serving food and beverages when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and customer service area
- Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
- Support general restaurant operations as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is an asset
- Experience using a POS system is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, reliable, and professional attitude
- Ability to work in flexible hours
Pay: $15.00-$24.00 per hour
