Automotive Mechanic
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of cars and light-duty vehicles. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and provides excellent service to our customers.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose mechanical issues on various makes and models.
* Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brakes, tires, and fluid services.
* Repair engines, transmissions, suspension, steering.
* Use diagnostic scanners and repair equipment to identify vehicle problems.
* Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs.
* Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper operation.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Follow all workplace safety procedures.
* Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members.
Requirements
* Experience as an Automotive Mechanic (preferred).
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
* Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and tools.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid Ontario driver’s licence (G).
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* 310S Automotive Service Technician licence is an asset, but experienced mechanics are encouraged to apply.
