Position: Registered Practical Nurse
Department: Ambulatory Care - Med/Surg Clinics
Status: Permanent Part-Time (must provide availability of up to a 0.5 FTE)
Hours: Monday to Friday; Days; 8 hour shifts (subject to change based on operational requirements)
This is what you'll be doing:
Provide nursing care to patients and their families in the Ambulatory Care Clinics (Outpatient Clinic). The Outpatient Clinics provide minor surgical procedures, consults and follow-up for patients across various specialties such as orthopedic/plastic surgery and gynecology etc. Must be able t work independently and interdependently with a diverse team of healthcare members.

Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
BCLS certification required at time of hire
Experience in ambulatory care nursing, OR nursing or Emergency nursing is an asset.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
Problem solving abilities and critical thinking skills
Diplomacy and public relations skills required
Demonstrated commitment to professional development and a strong knowledge of policy and practice standards
Satisfactory employment and attendance record
Other duties as assigned
Salary: $24.53 - $30.66 per hour
