Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Team Memberto join our dynamic team in the food service industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food handling, cashiering, and restaurant operations while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
- Handle food safely by following sanitation and food safety protocols
- Assist with kitchen duties such as food prep, sanitation, and maintaining cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain a clean and organized work station in compliance with health regulations
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Support team members in a collaborative work environment to deliver quality service
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation, cashiering, and POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory
