Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Seasonal Laborer to join our fresh fruit processing team for the summer months
Responsibilities
- Packing and Grading: Sorting and grading berries by color, size, and quality, then packing them into various containers like pints or bulk boxes.
- Inspection: Identifying and removing imperfect, damaged, or immature fruit.
- Scale in berries coming from the farm using inventory system
- Printing labels using inventory system
- Line Work: Working on a packing line to fill containers and stack them onto pallets (often 5 to 30-pound boxes).
- Quality Control: Ensuring adherence to food safety, which may include keeping work areas clean, monitoring temperatures of product, performing food safety checks on line and tracking production records and documenting
- Any other duties within the scope of the job that may be as assigned from time to time.

- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
- Be a flexible team player who works well in a busy and demanding environment.
- Able to work for extended periods of time in a focused, safe, and professional manner and work all shifts as required.
- Meet all physical requirements demanded by the job.
- English speaking is required
Working Conditions
- This is a seasonal role that runs for the duration of our blueberry harvest, June to September.
- Our facility operates 8-16 hours/day 7 days a week.
- Work shifts can vary from 8-12 hours dependent on the harvesting schedule.
Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
