Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide outstanding service to ensure a positive experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Handle food preparation tasks including assembling sandwiches, snacks, and other light menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food handling areas and dining spaces
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous but training will be provided
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
