Position: Financial Controller
Where: Woodstock, Ontario
Pay Range: $110-140,000 depending on experience

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE COOL PROJECTS DESIGNED AND BUILT
- Hoists for the world’s second heaviest on-shore lifter at 13,000 tons
- High speed winches and control system for a 2,000-foot artificial surfing pool
- Gate hoists on the largest infrastructure project in Canada
- Mechanical stage device for Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas
- Shaft sinking winches with 110,000 lbs line pull for mining projects in Australia
- Mooring and riser pull-in systems for multiple offshore energy projects world-wide
- Hoists for aqueduct construction which supplies 50% of drinking water to New York City
- A cable tensioning system that sets up the Artemis Emergency Egress System at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage and coordinate the functions of the Finance department to ensure employees are working toward common company objectives
- Complete job costing for manufacturing including raw material purchases, manufacturing, and engineering labour
- Responsible for completing month end closing procedures and preparing monthly management reports
- Responsible for all year-end financial reporting required for annual audit
- Working closely with the General Manager, prepare annual budget package for all departments
- Plan and co-ordinate the annual physical inventory and complete associated reconciliations
- Regular detailed sales contract review and negotiation of customer proposed terms and conditions

- Post-secondary degree in Accounting, CPA designation or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with cost accounting responsibilities
- Proven analytical abilities, detail oriented and practical decision-making skills
- Ability to earn respect from all levels of staff within the company
- Complete understanding of confidentiality and ability to exercise good judgement
- Strong computer skills in Excel, Word and ERP accounting software
