Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced drywall installer for commercial projects to join our team in Toronto. This role is vital in helping us achieve our mission of providing top-tier drywall services that support the growth and success of our clients' businesses.
Responsibilities
- Install, finish, and repair drywall panels efficiently and accurately on commercial sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise installation.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress.
- Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience as a drywall installer in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques and safety procedures.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Carpentry or handyman experience is a plus.
- Valid safety certifications or willingness to obtain them. Working at heights, WHMIS, 4 steps.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in various conditions.
