About Our Travel Consultant Role

As a Travel Consultant, you will drive sales by offering our customers a full range of travel products and services to ensure that they receive the most enjoyable travel experience with us. This role is based out of our Empress Branch location.

You are a proven travel sales specialist and understand the value of building rapport with your clients. Highlight of responsibilities:
Make recommendations on all aspects of travel planning to enhance the quality of the customer trip experience while creating the best value to ensure customer satisfaction.
Sell travel products including domestic and international air, train, cruise, tours, CAA exclusive group departures, travel insurance, and hotel/car reservations.
Promote CAA memberships and all CAA products, services, and benefits.

Graduate of Post-Secondary Education Program in Travel Counselling
Enrollment in or accreditation as a CITC
Two (2) years of experience in a Travel Consultant (Agent) position
Experience in selling leisure, group travel, and business travel
Experience using Smartpoint (Apollo) GDS
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
