Machine Operator (Temporary to Permanent)
About Our Client
Our client has been around since 1963– isn’t that amazing? They specialize in supplying retail food/produce mostly potatoes, carrots, and onions. We are looking for “rockstars”! Is that you?
What You Will Be Doing, as a Machine Operator:
- Operating machines and equipment that sorts produce (potatoes/carrots/onions)
- Stacking boxes and bags on skids
- Assembling freight for customers
- Taping and labeling boxes to prepare for shipment.
- Some machine operating may be possible (training provided)
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a Machine Operator:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be available full time (40+ hours)
- CSA Approved Safety Shoes/Boots
- A CAN-DO attitude! A rockstar!
In Return, You Will Receive:
- Up to $22.00 per hour - based on shift and position
- Plenty of overtime available
- Paid weekly, every Friday.
- Opportunity for permanent hire
- 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends
The Shift You Will Be Working is:
- Monday to Friday
- Days 7:00am to 6:00pm
- Lots of overtime available if production isn’t completed on time
Where You Will Be Working, as a machine Operator:
- Clay Avenue & Sutton Drive (Burlington)
- Bus accessible
