Summary
We are seeking a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef to lead our culinary team at Morning Brunch Co Airdrie. This role is vital in maintaining our high standards of food quality and exceptional service, ensuring our guests have memorable dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Lead and motivate the culinary team to deliver high-quality food consistently.
- Manage food preparation, cooking, and presentation standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with management to develop menu items and improve kitchen processes.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Making sure Food and Labor costs are maintained
- Scheduling
- Train staff on food handling, safety procedures, and customer service.
- Maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment aligned with our hospitality values.
- Qualifications
- Proven supervising and team management experience in a restaurant setting.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly preferred.
- Passion for culinary excellence and customer satisfaction.
