Our Corporate Security team is evolving to play a major role in leading innovation in our industry and to meet the needs of our growing business.
We are seeking an energetic professional for the role of Business Analyst to provide support to the Corporate Security team. This role requires deep understanding of Business Analyst methodologies and tools, as well as experience in designing interactive forms, infographics, and training tools. An effective communicator, the successful candidate will work in collaboration with our business units, corporate partners and Information Services teams compiling messages to diverse audiences across TC Energy. You will be a part of the dynamic and innovative Corporate Security organization, responsible to ensure the security and safety of people and assets at TC Energy.
What you’ll do
The role of Business Analyst would be to provide support to program development and administration of TC Energy’s Corporate Security teams. You will work closely with our advisors, technology implementors and operations centre. As well, the position will support continuous improvement initiatives and provide project management for the selection of state of art solutions to support TC Energy’s Digital Physical Security Product Life cycle.

Drive awareness of requirements across Corporate Security functions and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data.

Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing streamlining solutions that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels.

Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels.

Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development.

Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability.

Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties.

Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation

Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems

Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations

Provide project leadership to technology implementation initiatives
-
Support monthly and quarterly access control audits and provide access control configuration reports.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Six or more years of experience in analytics and systems development
-
Bachelor’s degree, (or equivalent, college degree and relevant experience), Business, information technology or computer science
-
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to draft and deliver messages horizontally and vertically throughout the organization.

Detail oriented with proven experience in managing documentation systems/libraries
-
High proficiency with Power Platform suite of applications (Power Bi, Power Automate, Power Apps)
-
Proven experience in developing/creating, (Storyboarding and scripting), communication/awareness videos

Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio

Experience in generating process documentation and reports

Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights
Preferred Qualifications

Proven ability to manage projects and user testing

Extensive experience with data visualization

High proficiency in technical writing

PMP certification would be considered an asset
