Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Key Holder/Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role is vital in delivering exceptional customer service, managing store operations, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of retail sales, and the ability to lead by example. Multilingual abilities and experience in technology sales or product demonstrations are highly valued. As a key holder, you will support store management in opening and closing procedures, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling, transactions, and inventory management
- Maintain organized merchandising displays aligned with company standards
- Support opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and store security checks
- Manage stock levels, restock shelves, and assist with inventory counts
- Uphold store cleanliness and organization to ensure a professional appearance
- Utilize strong communication skills to engage with diverse customers, including bilingual interactions when applicable
- Demonstrate product features through demos and technical explanations to educate customers about new technology products
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in technology or electronics sectors
- Bilingual skills (English plus additional languages) are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with merchandising, POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management
- Experience in upselling techniques to increase sales volume
- Proven ability to work well independently as well as part of a team in a retail setting
