About the Role
Core Plumbing & Mechanical Inc. is seeking a licensed plumber to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations in commercial and multi-residential buildings across Toronto.
This role requires a professional and reliable plumber who can work independently, diagnose plumbing issues, and communicate effectively with both the office team and building representatives.
Key Responsibilities
Service and Repairs
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in residential and commercial units
- Perform repairs and replacements of fixtures, valves, faucets, toilets, and other plumbing components
- Investigate leaks and identify the source of plumbing problems
- Complete plumbing installations and repairs in accordance with code and company standards
Building and System Work
- Perform work on building plumbing systems including domestic water, drainage, and heating lines
- Assist with riser valve replacements, PRV repairs, and system maintenance
- Perform drain cleaning and clearing of blockages when required
Job Documentation and Communication
- Provide clear updates to the office, operation manager, and building managers regarding job progress and findings
- Complete work orders and document materials used and work performed
- Communicate professionally with property managers, building staff, and residents
Professional Conduct
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle
- Follow company safety procedures and job site requirements
- Represent the company professionally while working on client properties
Requirements
- Valid plumbing license
- Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience
- Experience multi-residential buildings preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls
- Good communication and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $37 – $45 per hour depending on experience
