We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist/ Body Worker to join our wellness team. Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, based on client preferences and needs.
- Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their medical history to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment options, aftercare advice, and any concerns they may have.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.
Experience
- A valid massage therapy license or certification from an accredited institution is required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred to enhance communication with clients regarding health-related issues.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is advantageous, as strong communication skills are essential for building rapport with clients.
