Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks that support construction, maintenance, and installation projects. This role requires physical strength, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Skilled Labourer will play a vital part in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment at job sites
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up tools and materials
- Perform general manual labor including lifting, digging, and moving supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, or plumbers in their tasks
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
- Operate basic tools and machinery as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the project duration
- Assist with site cleanup and disposal of debris upon project completion
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Labourer or similar role preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and guidelines
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Basic knowledge of construction or maintenance processes is a plus
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is advantageous
- Must be punctual, dependable, and eager to contribute to team success
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
