Job Summary
We are independently owned pharmacies operating under Pharmasave banner and we are seeking a highly organized and experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations within a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe, effective, and efficient dispensing of medications while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This leadership role requires a strong background in patient care and pharmacy management, with a focus on delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy assistants, to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee medication dispensing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to prescriptions
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy and improve health outcomes
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance workflow efficiency and patient safety
- Monitor inventory levels, order medications, and manage stock to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Provide training and ongoing education for pharmacy staff on new medications, procedures, and compliance standards
- Ensure proper documentation of medication administration and patient records
- Address patient inquiries regarding medication use, side effects, and interactions with professionalism and care
Skills
- Proven experience working with Kroll
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and patient care practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate dispensing and record keeping
- Ability to communicate clearly with healthcare professionals, patients, and staff
- Familiarity with pharmacy management software systems
- Ability to handle complex situations involving medication safety and regulatory compliance

Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour
