Responsibilities
- Working outside pruning and caring for trees.
- General Gardener duties.
- Apply fertilizer and herbicide.
- Inspect and maintain irrigation systems.
- Ability to work with customers if required.
- Work off the farm installing and servicing trees.
- Reporting to Farm Manager.
Qualifications
- Must have personal interest in botany and or arboriculture.
- This is a physically demanding job. Potential candidates must be in good physical health and capable of putting in a hard days work.
- Must have valid driver licence and means of transportation.
- No previous nursery experience is necessary.
- Operation of machinery would be an asset.
- Mechanical and Electrical aptitude would be an asset.
- Preferred candidate: Landscape Horticulturist, Arborist, nursery experience, irrigation installation and landscaping experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 84 per week
