Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in commercial spaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas according to established standards
- Handle waste disposal and restock supplies as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on cleaning equipment and report any issues
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting moderate loads
- Reliable transportation is a plus for flexible scheduling or moving between sites
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards and safety protocols
- Background check is required.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
