Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financier - Contrôleuse Financière to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in various accounting software, and the ability to analyze financial data effectively. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial health and strategic planning of our organization.

Duties

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision and timeliness
Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements
Conduct detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies
Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting activities to support organizational planning
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms for daily operations
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements in all financial activities
Support audit preparations by maintaining organized financial records and documentation

Experience

Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably as a controller or finance analyst
Strong proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage 50 and 100, Xero, and other relevant tools
Demonstrated expertise in managing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation processes
Knowledge of budgeting techniques and financial analysis methods
Familiarity with industry standards for financial reporting and compliance regulations
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

This position is integral to maintaining the integrity of our financial operations. The successful candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to financial management.

Pay: $60,000.00-$133,653.37 per year
