Your responsibilities and tasks

Rôles :

Coordonner et/ou effectuer l’installation et la mise en service des nouveaux homogénéisateurs vendus aux clients.
Fournir un soutien technique et de maintenance pour les homogénéisateurs.
Se déplacer sur les sites clients pour travailler sur les systèmes d’homogénéisation conformément aux procédures de sécurité GEA et aux manuels de maintenance applicables.
Former les clients et les employés à l’utilisation de l’équipement, aux meilleures pratiques opérationnelles et à la maintenance générale.
Assister les tiers dans les activités d’exécution de projets.
Participer aux activités d’audit et de suivi des équipements GEA sur les sites des clients.
Effectuer les procédures de maintenance courante, les interventions d’urgence ainsi que les travaux sous garantie sur les gammes de produits GEA.
Collecter et classifier les données à l’aide de divers instruments de mesure adaptés à l’équipement.
Tester les systèmes et composants utilisant des contrôles électriques, mécaniques, numériques et pneumatiques.
Tenir à jour les dossiers de réparations et de maintenance conformément aux calendriers d’entretien, aux exigences de gouvernance corporative, aux exigences légales et aux exigences des clients.
Fournir des commentaires et recommandations aux autres départements pour le développement de nouveaux produits et l’amélioration des produits existants.
Proposer des améliorations concernant les outils, procédures et dispositifs utilisés pour les opérations de service.
Préparer des listes de pièces pour les clients, internes et externes.

Responsabilités :

Dépanner, installer et réparer les équipements GEA sur les sites clients.
Effectuer des saisies de paramètres PLC de base.
Réaliser les interventions de service et remplir correctement les rapports et documents associés.
Enquêter sur les problèmes, formuler des recommandations de réparation et effectuer les mises à niveau des équipements.
Réaliser les services de maintenance préventive.
Travailler le nombre d’heures nécessaires, incluant un temps supplémentaire raisonnable, afin de satisfaire le client et/ou de compléter les tâches.
Assurer le suivi avec les clients et les filiales selon les besoins.
Effectuer les recherches nécessaires pour fournir aux clients les pièces, schémas, documents, etc., appropriés.
Contribuer aux efforts de l’équipe en accomplissant toutes les tâches pouvant être assignées par le superviseur.

Roles:

Coordinate and/or perform Installation and Commissioning of new Homogenizers sold to customers
Provide technical and maintenance support Homogenizers
Travel to Customer Sites to work on Homogenizer systems as per the applicable GEA Safe operating procedures and maintenance manuals.
Train customers and employees on the equipment for best operating practices and general maintenance.
Assist the third party with Project Execution activities.
Participate in auditing and monitoring activities of GEA equipment on customers ‘sites.
Perform routine maintenance procedures, emergency service as well as warranty work on GEA’s product lines.
Collect and classify data using various measuring equipment applicable to the equipment.
Test systems and components using electrical, mechanical, digital, and pneumatic controls.
Maintain records of repairs and maintenance of equipment as per maintenance schedules, corporate governance, legal requirements, and customer requirements.
Provide feedback and recommendations to other departments in the development of new products and the improvement of existing products.
Initiate recommendations for improved tools, procedures, and devices for service operations.
Build parts lists for Customers, internal and external.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, install and repair GEA equipment at customer site.
Basic PLC parameter entry.
Perform service and properly fill out and submit reports and related documents.
Investigate problems, make repair recommendations and perform equipment upgrades.
Perform preventative maintenance services.
Work the necessary hours, including reasonable overtime as required, to satisfy the customer and/or complete the task.
Follow up with customers and affiliates as required.
Perform the required research needed to provide the customers with the correct parts, diagrams, documents, etc.
Contributes to team effort by completing all tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Your profile and qualifications

5 à 7 ans d’expérience.
Diplôme professionnel ou collégial (Technologie du génie mécanique, Mécanique d’équipement lourd, Mécanicien industriel/Millwright ou domaine similaire).
Disponibilité pour voyager à au moins 75 %, partout au Canada selon les besoins.
Le candidat doit pouvoir s’adapter à un horaire de travail flexible.
Doit posséder un passeport valide et être autorisé à travailler au Canada et aux États‑Unis lorsque requis.
Des déplacements internationaux peuvent être nécessaires pour la formation ou d’autres exigences; le candidat doit donc être en mesure de voyager à l’international.
Une connaissance des systèmes d’homogénéisation est requise / constitue un avantage. À défaut, le candidat doit démontrer des compétences et connaissances applicables à d’autres équipements mécaniques similaires.
Des connaissances en procédés et en électricité constituent un atout.
Expérience en PLC (Allen Bradley un plus), programmation ou panneaux de contrôle considérée comme avantageuse.
Le bilinguisme (anglais et français) est un atout.

5 to 7 years experience
Professional or Collegian Diploma (Mechanical Engineering Technology, Heavy Duty Mechanic, Millwright or similar)
Travel Requirement at least 75% of the job requires travel across Canada as and when required
The Candidate must be able to accommodate a flexible working schedule
Must have Valid passport and be eligible to work in CA and USA when required
International travel is also a possibility for training and other requirements candidate must be able to travel internationally as well
Knowledge of Homogenizer systems required/ and advantageous or candidate must demonstrate skills and knowledge applied in other mechanically Relatable Equipment
Process and electrical knowledge and experience is advantageous
PLC (Allen Bradley is a plus) / Programming / Control Panel experience is considered advantageous
Bilingual (English and French) is an asset
