Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing transactions accurately, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a customer-focused attitude. Bilingual skills and experience with retail sales or merchandising are a plus. The position offers an opportunity to develop sales techniques, assist customers with product demos, and contribute to a welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling and credit transactions
Provide product information, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to enhance customer experience
Maintain accurate cash register operations and balance cash drawers at shift end
Assist with merchandising displays and stock replenishment to ensure attractive product presentation
Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Support sales efforts through effective communication of product features and benefits
Ensure the store environment remains organized, clean, and welcoming
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly

Requirements

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales preferred
Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele
Knowledge of merchandising, product demos, and upselling techniques is a plus
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively during shifts
Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is advantageous

Pay: $17.60-$18.10 per hour
