We are looking for a FOH Shift Lead who is hands-on, team-oriented, and able to oversee nightly operations while ensuring excellent service and guest satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, adaptability, and the ability to step into various roles as needed to maintain smooth service.

The FOH Shift lead will be responsible for managing the floor, handling guest interactions, and assisting the FOH team throughout service. Duties include but are not limited to:

Oversee open and close operations when Manager not present.
Overseeing the guest experience, handling customer concerns, and resolving service-related issues.
Assisting the FOH team by seating guests, running food, making drinks, clearing tables, taking tables if needed, and taking payments.
Covering shifts if a server or bartender calls in sick and no replacement is available.
Tracking and verifying discounts, QSA comps, and promotions for accurate reporting.
Monitoring labor costs and making appropriate staffing cuts based on business levels.
Performing nightly walkthroughs to ensure all closing checklists are completed before staff leave.
Conducting line checks before the last cook leaves, ensuring cleanliness, restocking, and proper labeling/dating of prep items.

Job Requirements:

Experience as a server or bartender in a high-volume restaurant.
Previous supervisory experience is an asset but not required.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Ability to work hands-on in all areas of service.
Experience with Squirrel POS and OpenTable is preferred.
Basic bartending knowledge.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with social media marketing (Instagram & Facebook).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
