Reporting to the Foreman, the Service Coordinator demands a high level of organization and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. As a Service Coordinator, you will take charge of coordinating and overseeing repair requests, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the efficient and prompt completion of equipment maintenance and repairs. Your exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously will greatly contribute to the overall success of our repair department.
How You’ll Add Value

Act as the primary point of contact for employees requesting equipment maintenance and repairs.

Work collaboratively with the HD Tech Foreman to coordinate, prioritize and provide updates on equipment repair.

Receive repair requests, gather necessary information, and document all relevant details accurately.

Communicate repair timelines, and any additional requirements to relevant stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.

Address concerns or complaints promptly and ensure a satisfactory resolution.

Efficiently schedule repair appointments based on availability of technicians, equipment, and materials.

Coordinate with the Repair team to ensure adequate resources are allocated for each repair job.

Prioritize and manage repair requests based on urgency and severity, optimizing efficiency and internal customer satisfaction.

Monitor repair progress and provide updates to relevant stakeholders on the status of their repairs, including any delays or changes.

Create and maintain accurate records of repair orders, including internal stakeholder information, job details, parts used, and costs incurred.

Prepare and submit repair reports, invoices, and other relevant documents in a timely manner.

Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate billing and payment processing for completed repair services.

Collaborate with the Repair team to gain a thorough understanding of technical aspects related to repairs.

Utilize technical knowledge to provide basic trouble shooting assistance and answer internal employee questions regarding repair processes.

Identify potential warranty claims or issues and follow the appropriate procedures to address them.

Proactively identify opportunities to improve repair processes, customer experience, and department efficiency.

Collaborate with the Repair team and management to implement process enhancements and best practices.

Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to construction repairs.
What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or relevant certification preferred).

Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a construction or repair environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach.

Basic technical knowledge and familiarity with construction repair processes is advantageous.

Proficiency in computer systems, including MS Office and repair management software.
