The Headroom is a Redken Professional Salon and Luxury Retail Shop. Our relationship with our supplier allows us to be informed of new products and educational events. We stock the finest salon products available, with professionals who can provide advice for their proper usage.

ABOUT THE POSITION
In this role, you will use your Hairstyling Skills to empower your guests - we do not take this lightly! You will have full support from The Headroom Salon Co in building a profitable salon where everyone is rewarded for Education Sessions, Workshops, Community Engagement and of course, Top Tier Guest Experience.
The Headroom Inc is a locally owned and run business that started in Grande Prairie, AB. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to elevate the beauty industry through education of our team, their families and our guests alike. Our newly renovated salon in Calgary has room for 4 additional experienced stylists at this time. We are looking for 1 Mentor Role, 3 Experienced Stylists, and 1-2 Associate Stylists.

Duties:
- Provide hair styling services to clients, including cutting, colouring, and styling
- Perform luxury hair treatments such as deep conditioning and scalp massages
- Stay up to date with the latest hair trends and techniques
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client records
- Educate and Prescribe recommended salon products and services to clients
- Option to join mentoring team and work with apprenticing hairstylists
Skills:
- You have strong knowledge and experience in hair styling techniques
- You have excellent customer service skills
- You can educate confidently and prescribe salon products and services
- You have previous leadership position with great references (incl. apprentices if possible)
- You have extensive blonding and colour experience
- Your extension experience is with weft and hand-tied beaded methods
Note: Retail sales experience is a plus, but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30,000.00-$230,000.00 per year
