Full job description

We're seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our client's team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a propane or diesel forklift, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience operating a forklift
Proven safety record and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs
Availability to work 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Willingness to work outdoors year-round

Duties include but are not limited to:

Operate a temperature-controlled diesel/propane forklift to manage inventory and fulfill orders (approximately 90% of workday)
Manage outdoor inventory, including picking orders for materials such as pipes, coils, and patio stone
Receive and process incoming shipments, ensuring accurate inventory levels
Perform general yard maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and organized work environment
Conduct cycle counting and inventory management tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Direct trucks to designated loading docks
Unload and receive merchandise, inspecting for quality and damage
Perform pre and post inspections on forklift to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met
Other duties as assigned

Wage: $22.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday – 10:00am to 7:00pm
