Queen Genetics Canada Inc. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Sales and Logistics Coordinator

To help ensure our continuous growth in North America we are looking for a Sales and Logistics Coordinator to join our office in St. Catharines. The scope of responsibilities will range from administrative tasks to mainly logistics- and import handling at several ports of entry, customer service, identifying new customers in North America and order handling in a flexible, friendly, and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create customer quotations, orders, and invoices, communicate with customers and follow-up on orders emphasizing on order relevant details
- Coordinate and ensure onwards logistics with our service-providers, business partners, and suppliers
- Process and coordinate inside sales including accurate and precise order entry, invoicing, account management, hands-on allocation of inventory, and scheduling of pick-ups and deliveries
- Assist in continuous management and development of customer service and administrative processes
- Receive and handle orders coming into our warehouse (sometimes over the weekends)
- Assist in identifying and screening new potential customers
- To complete all other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in either logistics or sales is a criteria
- Experience in an administrative role in logistics and/or sales
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to speak English fluently.
- Must be very detail-oriented, proactive, self-disciplined, and able to demonstrate a high level of productivity
- Must have a high degree of interpersonal skills which would enable the candidate to deal successfully with customers, suppliers and business partners
- Must possess a valid driver’s license (G)
- Skilled in IT, here including excel, Outlook and used to working in an ERP system (Business Central) with an eye out for details as a must
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- An understanding of the Horticultural industry and / or experience in a similar role will be an asset but not a requirement

Job Type: Part-time (30 hours a week).
Schedule:
This position is based on 30 hours per week. The regular in-office schedule will consist of four (4) weekdays for 27 in-office hours total. The remaining 3 hours’ time is allocated toward remote weekend shipment oversight responsibilities, which are expected to require approximately 20–30 minutes of active work per weekend.
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in office
- Weekend remote oversight of shipments, performed via phone or computer as needed. This responsibility is expected to require approximately 20-30 minutes total per weekend.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- St. Catharines, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
