RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests using the hotel’s pool and water slide facilities.
Monitor swimmer and rider activity, consistently enforcing all safety rules and guidelines.
Conduct routine water-chemical testing and maintain accurate records as required.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming pool and slide environment throughout each shift.
Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
Assist guests with questions and promote a friendly, service-focused atmosphere.
Oversee the safe and efficient operation of the water slide, including managing rider flow.
Identify and report safety concerns, equipment issues, or incidents to the appropriate leaders.
Complete daily checklists, documentation, and opening/closing procedures with accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid Lifeguard Certification (National Lifeguard – Pool) and current CPR-C/Standard First Aid.
Strong swimming ability and proven rescue capability.
Ability to remain attentive, calm, and focused in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and guest-service skills.
Physically able to perform rescues and handle pool-related equipment.
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Previous lifeguard or pool-attendant experience is considered an asset.
Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
