A Psychologist conducts comprehensive psychological assessments, interprets standardized tests, and provides evidence ‑ based diagnoses and recommendations. They deliver specialized psychological treatment, consultation, and intervention, and collaborate with interprofessional teams to guide care planning. The role also involves preparing detailed reports, participating in case conferences, and maintaining high professional and ethical standards. Psychologists may additionally support research, program development, evaluation, and the supervision and training of students and clinicians.
� Conduct psychological assessments using standardized cognitive, academic, memory, executive ‑ functioning, adaptive, attention, social ‑ emotional, personality, psychosocial, and mental ‑ health measures.
� Administer and interpret psychological and psychoeducational tests, structured interviews, IQ measures, and rating scales.
� Provide evidence ‑ based psychological treatments and interventions in individual or group formats.
� Prepare detailed written assessment reports and communicate findings and recommendations to clients, families, and professionals.
� Offer psychological consultation and support collaborative case management with interprofessional teams.
� Participate in program development, evaluation, and quality ‑ improvement initiatives.
� Contribute to or lead clinical research and apply assessment findings to support service enhancement.
� Provide supervision and training for graduate students, practicum learners, residents, and clinicians.
� Teach or mentor others on assessment methods or therapeutic procedures.
� Maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
� Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and culturally competent practice.
� Participate in diversity, inclusion, safety, and risk ‑ management activities.
� Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
� Current registration in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) to practice Clinical Psychology.
� Experience administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological and psychoeducational assessments.
� Strong theoretical and clinical background in mental ‑ health assessment and evidence ‑ based intervention.
� Excellent clinical writing, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
� Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and meet deadlines.
� Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively within interprofessional teams.
� Demonstrated ability to work respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
� Proficiency with office software and electronic documentation systems.
� Experience conducting research, evaluation, or academic activities.
� Ability to provide clinical supervision that meets accreditation or training requirements.
� Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in an additional language.
Salary Range: $55.96 – $75.45 per hour
