Sales Enablement & Internal Support
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with potential and existing clients to promote our products and services, primarily through phone and digital communication channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and experience in sales, particularly in B2B environments. The Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in driving business growth, building relationships, and expanding our market presence across diverse industries. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in French is a plus. Familiarity with Hubspot, Autotask and technology sales is highly desirable.
Sales Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls and follow-up communications to prospective clients using telemarketing techniques.
- Manage inbound inquiries, providing detailed product information and solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and promote repeat business.
- Negotiate terms and close sales deals effectively, ensuring mutual benefit for clients and the company.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to identify new business opportunities and develop targeted outreach strategies.
- Utilize Hubspot, Autotask or similar CRM tools to track leads, sales activities, and customer interactions accurately.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and competitors’ offerings to effectively position our solutions.
- Support business development efforts by identifying potential markets and client segments for expansion.
- Maintain excellent communication skills to articulate technical information clearly and persuasively.
Marketing & Communication Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Define and maintain the company’s brand voice, messaging, and value proposition
- Ensure consistent positioning of services (e.g., cybersecurity, managed IT, vCIO offerings)
- Align messaging with target industries (construction, real estate, professional services, etc.)
- Differentiate MSP offerings from competitors (e.g., security-first approach, 24/7 SOC, etc.)
Content Creation & Thought Leadership
- Develop marketing content:
Website
- Blogs and articles
- Case studies and client success stories
- Sales collateral (one-pagers, proposals, pitch decks)
Create cybersecurity awareness content
- Produce executive-level materials (QBR summaries, insights, infographics)
- Support internal teams with polished communications and presentations
Digital Marketing & Campaign Management
- Plan and execute campaigns:
- Email marketing campaigns
- LinkedIn/social campaigns
- Lead nurturing workflows
Manage website performance (SEO, landing pages, conversion optimization)
- Run targeted campaigns for:
- New client acquisition
- Cross-sell/upsell to existing clients
- Coordinate marketing automation tools (CRM, email platforms, campaign tools)
Lead Generation & Pipeline Support
- Build and manage inbound lead generation strategies
- Support outbound initiatives (campaign lists, messaging, follow-ups)
- Collaborate closely with sales/vCIO teams to:
- Align messaging with offers
- Improve conversion rates
- Track lead sources and campaign ROI
Client & External Communications
- Draft client-facing communications:
- Service announcements
- Incident notifications
- Security advisories
- Newsletters
Social Media & Online Presence
- Manage company social media profiles (LinkedIn priority for MSPs)
- Publish consistent, relevant content (security tips, case studies, insights)
- Monitor engagement and respond to inquiries
- Build brand awareness and credibility in target markets
Event Marketing & Community Engagement
- Plan and promote:
- Webinars (cybersecurity, IT strategy)
- Client events (QBR sessions, workshops)
- Sponsorships and local events (important for Ottawa MSP presence)
- Develop promotional materials (flyers, invites, sponsorship kits)
- Coordinate logistics and follow-up campaigns
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
- Campaign performance
- Website traffic and conversion rates
- Lead generation metrics
- Analyze engagement and recommend improvements
- Use data to refine messaging and targeting
Create tools to help sales teams close deals:
- Proposal templates
- Comparison sheets
- Service descriptions
- Ensure consistency between marketing and sales messaging
- Support RFP/RFQ responses and proposal writing
Brand Governance & Documentation
- Maintain marketing standards and templates
- Manage brand assets (logos, templates, presentations)
- Ensure all external communications follow compliance and brand guidelines
- Proven experience in inside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Experience with telemarketing or outbound calling campaigns is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies related to inside sales development.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English; proficiency in Spanish is a valuable asset.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities.

Pay: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
