About Me
My name is John, and I am an adult man living with quadriplegia. I live on a beautiful, well-maintained 100-acre farm property with my loving family, and I am looking for compassionate and reliable people to join my care team.
I direct my own care and am looking for someone who can help me maintain my independence while becoming a trusted part of my daily routine. The right person for this role is someone who can help me with my daily routine, but who also enjoys a good conversation and a few laughs along the way.
While there are personal care responsibilities involved, including bowel care, previous caregiving experience is not required. I am happy to provide training to the right person. What matters most to me is finding someone who is dependable, kind, respectful, and willing to learn.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a peaceful rural setting and a welcoming family environment where your contribution is genuinely appreciated.

The Kind of Person I'm Looking For

- Reliable, punctual, and committed to showing up when needed
- Positive attitude and good sense of humour
- Comfortable learning new skills and following established routines
- Strong communication skills
- Able to maintain privacy and confidentiality
- Physically capable of assisting with transfers and personal care tasks
- Comfortable working closely with both me and my family
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, healthcare, or support work experience is an asset but not required
