We are seeking a driven Sales Consultant to join our Coquitlam team and help build a high-end, quality-focused custom millwork platform.
✨ What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Lead Conversion: Proactively engage with company-provided leads while actively developing new business. Drive the entire sales process from initial inquiry and needs assessment to proposal generation and contract signing.
- Professional Consultation: Clearly articulate product materials, craftsmanship advantages, and custom value. Assist clients with finish selections and color decisions to win their trust.
- Site & Space Planning: Arrange or participate in on-site measurements to ensure design feasibility. (Plus: Ability to use software for preliminary space planning and proposal concepts).
- Project Coordination: Act as the central hub between design, production, and installation departments. Ensure accurate information flow, clear timelines, and stable delivery.
- Risk Mitigation & Execution: Proactively identify potential roadblocks (e.g., dimension conflicts, site conditions, material lead times) and adjust plans accordingly to guarantee a flawless project lifecycle and client experience.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with interior designers, builders, and developers to establish a stable referral network.
✨ What We Are Looking For (Qualifications):
- Industry Experience: 1–2 years of sales experience in custom cabinetry, millwork, building materials, home renovation, or real estate is preferred. (Plus: Experience in project management or coordination within the construction/millwork sector).
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English with exceptional negotiation and decision-driving skills. (Proficiency in additional languages is a strong asset).
- Resilience & Professionalism: Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of staying organized in a fast-paced, multi-project manufacturing environment. We need a proactive problem-solver, not someone who shrinks from production floor challenges.
- Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license for site visits and be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Work Arrangement: This is a 100% on-site position based in our Coquitlam office/showroom. Remote work is not available.
