Richelieu Hardware is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for the Supply Chain Department, located in Ville St-Laurent, Québec.
The Supply Chain Analyst plays a key role in optimizing the company’s logistical and operational processes. This position is responsible for conducting in‑depth supply chain analyses, developing and maintaining performance indicators (KPIs), and designing dynamic dashboards in Microsoft Power BI and Excel to support strategic decision‑making.
More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to:

Supply Chain Analysis

Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of supply chain operations (procurement, inventory, production, transportation, distribution).

Identify trends, inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Participate in scenario modeling (forecasting, simulations, capacity analyses).

Prepare clear and structured analytical reports for internal teams.
Development and Management of Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Define, document, and standardize KPIs related to supply chain performance.

Collaborate with operational teams to understand their needs and translate them into measurable indicators.

Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of data used for KPIs.

Implement monitoring mechanisms and support continuous improvement of performance indicators.
Analytical Development in Microsoft Power BI and Excel

Design, develop, and maintain interactive and automated dashboards in Power BI.

Build analytical reports and data models using internal databases with Excel, Power Query, and Power Pivot.

Integrate and transform data from multiple sources (ERP, WMS, inventory systems, external files).

Optimize data models to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.

Train internal users on how to use dashboards and analytical reports.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

Work closely with logistics, finance, IT, and operations teams.

Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization projects.

Contribute to the evolution of analytical tools and best practices in data management.
Requirements

Excellent command of Microsoft Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization).

Strong advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot.

Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain processes.

Strong data analysis, modeling, and problem‑solving skills.

Understanding of inventory management, forecasting, logistics, and planning concepts.
The Ideal Candidate

2 to 5 years of experience in data analysis or supply chain.

Demonstrated experience with Power BI and advanced Excel.

Knowledge of manufacturing or distribution environments (an asset).
