We are growing our team and looking for a skilled, customer-focused Parts Advisor who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and has strong professional experience in automotive parts operations.
Position Overview
As a Parts Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers and technicians requiring GM parts. You’ll use your expertise to identify, source, and supply the correct components while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping people keep their vehicles running safely and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to retail customers, service technicians, and wholesale accounts
- Identify and source correct GM parts using EPC and dealership systems
- Process parts orders, returns, and warranty-related transactions
- Maintain inventory accuracy, stock levels, and parts organization
- Support the service department with timely parts delivery and communication
- Build strong customer relationships through professionalism and product knowledge
- Assist with merchandising, parts displays, and promotional programs
- Follow GM processes, dealership policies, and safety standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an automotive Parts Advisor (GM experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and terminology
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service
- Experience with GM EPC, Quorum, or similar DMS systems
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
