Overview

AFTERNOON SHIFT - Monday to Friday
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer (lathe/mill) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong current background in CNC machining/Mastercam/code writing and be proficient in operating CNC lathe and mill machines. This role is essential for producing high-quality components while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. The operator will work closely with supervisors and other team members to ensure that production goals are met efficiently.

Duties

MUST HAVE: Mastercam programming/coding

Operate CNC lmachines (Hyundai Lathe/Victor Fortune mills/Dahli mill to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Work with plan schedules for the machine shop, lead the setup reduction project in all machines.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to understand project requirements.
Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, including troubleshooting and minor repairs.
Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist in materials handling, fabrication, and assembly line operations as needed.

Skills

MUST be skilled in CNC programming (Mastercam) and operation of CNC lathe and milling machines.
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (FANUC) (PLC) and their applications in machining.
Experience with Solidworks software would be an asset but not essential
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and assembly equipment effectively.
Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and tolerances.
Experience in quality control processes within a manufacturing facility is preferred.
Setup reduction methods and continuous improvements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
