Position Summary
Parklane is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to support operations at our new facility, which is designed for higher-volume, production-focused manufacturing. This site requires strong day-to-day leadership in a structured production environment with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and process discipline. The Production Supervisor will lead frontline employees, coordinate daily production activities, monitor performance against targets, and drive continuous improvement across the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure output, quality, safety, and delivery targets are achieved.
- Lead, coach, and support production employees by setting expectations, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and addressing issues in a timely and consistent manner.
- Plan labour allocation and workflow to meet production schedules while maximizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
- Monitor production metrics such as throughput, scrap, rework, downtime, and labour efficiency, and take corrective action as needed.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements, safe work practices, and company procedures.
- Work closely with maintenance, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues and improve flow across the operation.
- Identify bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and standardization.
- Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with specifications, quality standards, and documented processes.
- Support onboarding and training of new employees and help build a capable, accountable, and engaged production team.
- Participate in scheduling, shift handovers, reporting, and production meetings to ensure clear communication across teams.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on shift performance, issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Support a disciplined operating environment where standard work, process adherence, and problem-solving are embedded in daily operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5 years proven supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment is required; experience in a high-volume or process-driven facility is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead frontline teams in a structured manufacturing setting with clear accountability for safety, quality, and productivity.
- Strong understanding of production operations, workflow management, and shop floor problem-solving.
- Experience using production metrics and KPIs to manage performance and drive improvements.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment and a strong commitment to safe operations.
- Ability to coach, develop, and motivate employees while maintaining expectations and operational discipline.
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, engineering, and operations leadership.
- Experience with continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or process optimization initiatives is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in manufacturing, operations, engineering, or a related field is an asset; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.

Pay: $85,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
